ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last Updated: September 19, 2026

At ENT Institute of NJ and the office of Don S. Respler, MD, we want every patient and family to feel welcome—including when visiting us online. We are committed to making our website accessible and easy to use for people of all abilities.

1. OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY

We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website so that patients, parents, caregivers, and other visitors can access information about our practice and pediatric ENT services.  Our goal is to provide an online experience that is clear, understandable, and accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals who use assistive technologies.

2. ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS

As part of our accessibility efforts, we seek to follow generally recognized accessibility practices and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), where reasonably applicable to our website.  Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we periodically review our website as content, technology, and accessibility standards evolve.

3. ACCESSIBLE WEBSITE EXPERIENCE

We strive to make important website information and functions accessible by considering features such as:

  • Clear and consistent navigation;

  • Readable text and appropriate visual contrast;

  • Descriptive headings and page structure;

  • Alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate;

  • Keyboard accessibility;

  • Compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies; and

  • Clear, understandable forms and instructions.

Because websites and third-party technologies are continually changing, some content or features may not always perform equally with every browser, device, or assistive technology.

4. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Our website may link to or incorporate services provided by third parties, such as online scheduling, maps, payment services, forms, videos, social-media platforms, or other external resources.  While we encourage accessibility throughout the online experience, some third-party content or services may be outside our direct control.

5. NEED ASSISTANCE?

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information provided in an alternative format, please contact our office.  We welcome the opportunity to assist you and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, service, or communication you need through an accessible alternative.  When contacting us about an accessibility issue, it is helpful to identify the webpage or feature that caused difficulty and, if comfortable doing so, the type of assistive technology or device you were using. This information can help us investigate and improve the experience.

6. ACCESSIBILITY IS AN ONGOING EFFORT

We view accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. As our website grows and changes, we intend to continue reviewing and improving its accessibility and usability.

We also welcome feedback from patients, families, caregivers, and visitors regarding ways we can make our website easier to access and use.
