During these challenging times, we understand that many patients do not want to leave the safety of their own homes to seek quality ENT care. 

 

As we are committed to the health and well-being of our patients, we are offering a limited number of virtual video telemedicine appointments on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  They are set up in 30 minute increments and will require the use of a smart mobile device.

 

For your virtual appointments, we prefer that you use a smartphone so that Dr. Respler can have you easily move and pivot your device for various physical exam assessments.

A tablet, laptop or desktop computer may also be used but will allow for a more limited physical exam.

To prepare for your virtual visit, we ask that you have the following items ready before you begin your visit:

 A smartphone, tablet or laptop with working audio, camera and microphone
 Patient’s height and weight
 Patient’s temperature
 A small flashlight

 

We will email office forms to you before your visit and they will need to be completed, signed and returned at least one day before your scheduled visit.  Once the forms are received by our office, you will receive an email with all the information necessary to set up your device for our virtual appointment.  This email will include the zoom link and  meeting codes as well as detailed instructions on how to set up and enter your virtual appointment.

The virtual appointment is conducted with the same quality of care that our patients expect, although the scope of the exam is more limited.  If a more thorough, in-office exam or testing is required, Dr. Respler will recommend a future in-office visit to follow up.
